Community Partners

As an established business we feel a sense of corporate responsibility not only to our staff and clients but to the community as a whole. We are pleased to be able to support a variety of causes within our local community from charitable organisations through to professional sporting arenas and amateur sports in the community.

Below are some of our community partners. Please feel free to find out more about them by using their logo’s to link straight to their websites.

Established in 1972, The Society of St James is a Hampshire homelessness charity providing accommodation and support to over 2500 people each year.

The Society of St James mission statement is:

"We believe that everyone has a right to a home and that people should be given the opportunity to develop the skills they need to lead a fulfilling life. Everyone deserves not just a second chance, or a third chance, but as many chances as they need to change their lives for the better.”

Portmore are delighted to be supporting this fantastic cause in our tenth anniversary year.

Established in May 2009 by Natasha (Lahna’s mum) when Lahna sadly passed away suddenly aged just 6 months old. Having contracted the common cold and slap cheek virus which ultimately lead to viral myocarditis (a viral infection of the heart muscle) she died without warning.

Natasha’s motive for establishing a charity in her memory is:

“Since then we’ve wanted to leave a legacy in her memory and to do some good from our tragedy. We have become one of the top five fundraisers for Southampton General Hospital and have spent funds on vital pieces of equipment for various departments within the hospital.”
Portmore are delighted to be supporting this fantastic cause in our tenth anniversary year.

 NEW MASTER Rainbow Logo 2015

The Rainbow Centre work to support children with Cerebral Palsy and adults with a stroke, MS and Parkinson’s disease and their families. Through a system of learning called conductive education they encourage and teach participants to take an active role in their own development. They help children learn new ways to become active and happy individuals who are proud of their own achievements and ready for life’s challenges.

We are proud to have been associated with the Rainbow Centre since 2012 and continue our ongoing support as one of the founder members of their 100 club.

This is the official charity of Hampshire Cricket at the Ageas Bowl and they take the spirit of cricket to the heart of the community. The charity works with schools, cricket clubs and community groups to inspire people to play cricket, learn and live well. Portmore support Hampshire Cricket in the Community at fundraising events and via staff support for the education programme.
